Hodge Podge

Today was pretty uneventful for me. It wasn't a bad day just not a very exciting one. It's funny really.. All throughout the day.. usually something will happen and I think.. I could blog about that.. but that didn't happen one time today.

So for my uneventful blog this is what you will get... just a little of this and a little of that.. Virtual Hodge Podge. Fun huh?

First off, the weather here in Oklahoma is fabulous right now. I am loving the chilly mornings and evenings. I wish it would stay like this for a long time.. I am not a big fan of super cold weather. Eh.

This evening, I went to the dollar store in search of a few of these:
Because I wanted to make a couple of these for some friends.. I thought they would be cheap/cute Halloween decorations for some of my teacher friends to put on their desk..
But they didn't have any.. or anything that would even work.. I am going to have to go to another dollar store in search of them.. You can find the instructions on how to make these cute frames here. Her blog is amazing it is called Joys of Home... These pictures are not mine. They are from her site... . I stumbled upon it from here. I so love this site. It has great ideas.

After my uneventful trip to the dollar store.. I came home and watched Big Brother 10 Season Finale. Congrats to Dan! I was rooting for him or Keesha. That show is addictive. Do you guys watch it?
I also watched 90210 tonight. I am not completely sold on it yet. I don't dislike it. It just doesn't have the same appeal it did for me so many years ago..
I think it has something to do with these guys not being on the show anymore.. It is funny how I used to think these guys were so cute.. Looking at this picture.. I am thinking my taste have changed a bit..

Oh, and if you are watching your weight and trying to stay away from high carb foods. Don't buy this..
Buttery Salt and Cracked Pepper Popcorn is so wonderful. I just love it. It's sad really. Because this isn't the only yummy flavor they offer. They have Salt and Lime as well.. Ugh.
This guy is definitely not my friend! If he was he wouldn't have made something so very yummy.. and well if he were my friend he so would have made it carb free.. ugh.
So there you have it. An uneventful post for an uneventful day! Here is hoping everyone has a blog worthy day tomorrow!

Night Lovies!

Love the "BOO" idea - thanks! I think I may be making a trip to the dollar store and doing the same thing.

And I watched a little bit, maybe 10 mins, of 90210 last week and just couldn't get into it. It's not the 90210 I remember - I won't be watching it any more! Sad day!

I have gotten into the show Fringe - have you seen it? It just started and is pretty good. It's not the type of show I normally watch but I am liking it...

I totally agree with you about 90210. I've tried to watch the new one a few times, but it's just not as good as the old one.... hmph

What a cute craft project, I'm gonna have to make one now.

I didn't let myself get sucked into Big Brother this year. I swear I could waste all day watching reality TV shows...so I try to steer clear!

I thought Dan would lose because he had made so many people mad...I was surprised it was 7 votes to ZERO for Memphis!

Those "BOO" frames are so cute!

I have been told by several people that the buttery salt and cracked pepper popcorn is to die for! I haven't tried it yet, I guess I need to!

I LOVE that frame!!!

I'm glad Dan won too! I was hoping Gerry would have won America's favorite, just for his wife and stuff, but Keisha's alright too.

Popcorn=carb hell! i steer clear!

Hope today is fabulous for you!

For an uneventful day, you sure came up with a great post!

I love the BOO frames. That is so cute. They could be changed out at Christmas to spell JOY in Christmasy colored letters. (Just a thought.)

I might have to add that to my "to do" list. I loved it.

We did not watch this season of Big Brother, but my husband and youngest son are definitely excited about the new Survivor. They love that show!:)

God Bless,
Amy:)

I love the boo sign! I've got to try one of those myself. I was considering watching 90210 too. But I just can't imagine that it will be as good as the original! I used to love that show.
