Not Me Monday - Guess What I found?

I had so much fun participating in Not Me! Monday last week I thought that I would join in the fun again.. You guys should really check out some of these post.. Head on over to McMamma's to see all of those who have posted Not Me! Monday entries..I did not skip ahead a day in my lesson plans at work because I forgot my camera at home. Following a plan is far more important then having pictures for my blog right? Yep, it totally is.. that is why I would never do that...

I did not go and see Nights in Rodanthe this weekend and bawl my eyes out. Of course I wouldn't do that because I read the book and already knew exactly what would happen. Who would put themselves through all that crying? Not me, that's for sure.

I did not get really excited when I found out that Washington Redskins beat the Cowboys. It is not true that my favorite team is whomever plays the Cowboys. that would just be silly..

I did not go to my school and work on my room for 3 three hours on Saturday. I have better things to do then work on the weekend. While I was not there, I most certainly did not cover every inch of all my rooms in Halloween decor. On the way home from not being there, I did not fret about the sensory overload my students will face when they see all the decorations that are not there..What teacher in her right mind would get her students all excited on a MONDAY. Ugh. Not me.

I did not borrow a bar of soap and toilet paper from my parents house because I didn't want to go to Wal-Mart on a Sunday afternoon. After not borrowing from my folks, I did not end up at Wal-Mart anyway for one must never borrow deodorant from anyone. Eww.

I did not think that Edie Britt's new husband on Desperate Housewifes looked familar. And when I did not finally realize who I thought he looked like, I did not ask my friend - Hey does he look like Marlboro man Man to you? You know- PW's husband. As if, they were a household name.
I did not secretly wish that Rob Lowe would show up at my door for no reason, while I was watching Brothers and Sisters. I mean come on.. Who visits after 10 on a Sunday night..
(now your not wishing that either are you?)

Okay, I could go on and on. Seriously (can you tell Grey's is back on). But I will stop with the Not Me Post.. Until next week, of course.

Do you remember this post? The one in which I was searching for the 3 opening frames? Well I found them.. Of course not in my town.. ugh. But nonetheless, I found them. I bought 5 of them. I loved the idea found at Joy's of Home so much that I wanted to try and make some for fun little gifts to give.. Here are the first two that I have made.. I plan on making a few more and I am hoping they get better each time.. They are super easy to make..

Okay- So I added bows. To both of mine.. I likes bows. I think everything looks cuter with a bow. Aren't they so fun? On the next one I am going to make sure the letters aren't so big.. but trial and error works for me..

I would have been way more productive this weekend.. but um, I had a little bit of a distraction laying around..

Head on over to Ms. Whitney's to enter for a chance to win all things pink in Honor of her friend Lindsey. Also take the time to read her moving email from this dear friend.

Ready or Not, Monday's here!

Thanks for stopping by my blog. I'm having such a blast checking out everyone's blogs.

I've done the "take out the word love" thing, too. I've also written prayer journals for my boys by taking out the me's and I's in the Psalms and inserting their names. It's very powerful.

I love how the bows look too!

I used to work with 3 years olds and I understand their fears so it is nice to have subsided my little guys biggest fear!!!

Love the frames by the way! I wish I was crafty but I am soo not. I can dream though and maybe will take a trip to Michael's today to see what I can come up with :)!

What fun! I love your little three-opening frames, and I really love that you spent the weekend reading about vampires! I most certainly do NOT have all four of those books sitting on my shelf right now. Nor have I read them all twice. I haven't.
