Not Me Monday!

Well blogging buddies. I do believe it is that time again! Click on over here to see what all the fuss is about..
I have not been completely neglectful to my blogging friends the last few days. This week was not super crazy..and it did not require my every waking breath for me to get things done. I am way to laid back to ever get worked up over long hours and extensive meetings.

I did not have to send a student home on the day of our Halloween party due to ugly behavior the day of our class party. I did not cry about it on the way home from work.

My Mom and Aunt did not show up to help me with my class Halloween Party. They also did not take down all of my Halloween Decorations. My classroom was not immaculate when I left on Friday.

I did not receive my birth certificate in the mail on Friday, get so excited and head straight to the tag office to get my license renewed. Upon arriving I did not realize that my social security card was not in my wristlet. I did not have to go back home and dig through several purses. I did not go back to the tag office. Stand in line for thirty minutes only to be told that they do except debit cards but not when renewing your license. I did not call my Mom and asked her to come write a check for me! (there was no way, I was getting out of that line..) After waiting over and hour, I did not get my picture made.. and I did not actually like the way it turned out.

I did not get a new Samsung Delve cellphone this weekend.

I am not purchasing tickets to see the new Oklahoma Thunder NBA team on a night that my beloved Phoenix Suns are playing on purpose. Of course I will be totally rooting for Thunder and not the Suns. I am not totally excited about this..

I did not almost fall asleep reading my very own set of BORING Not Me Monday Post..

I'm sorry you had to send a student home but don't beat yourself up over it, I'm sure you did the right thing!

Sounds like quite a weekend! Sorry to hear you had to send a child home. I am sure they will learn to make better choices the next time that something fun is going on though.

Poor lady! Don't feel bad about sending a kid home...he makes the choices to behave badly! But, you are so tenderhearted to cry going home!

Very busy girl you are! I've sent a little one home on a party day-he was a stinker and his mom had the nerve to give me parenting books to "understand how to deal with a youngest child" personality...I said, "I don't need a book on that, I married one!I am an expert!"
Have a good one-

You are funny, I don't blame you for asking for a helping hand after standing in line for so long! I probably would have started pan-handling the folks in line with me! :D

Well, my sister's preschool got written up for spitting on his teacher, if that helps! Enjoy the new phone!

I don't hold a grudge against Oklahomans - only against Clay Bennett for stealing our Sonics.

This is not the grudge talking, but I have to say that the Thunder logo is hideous.

Enjoy your NBA team! ;)

Don't you just hate going to the tag agency!! Why don't they take debit cards??? I have found myself in this very situation! I interned for the Hornets when they were here...I need to make it to a Thunders game!

When I get my car inspected every year it seems I've lost one of the pieces of paper they need. I have an old registration or insurance card. It always involves a few calls from the auto shop until I get them the correct stuff. I swear they think I'm dumb there.

Don't feel bad about sending the kid home! You had to do what you had to do! My son missed his party Friday because he was up all night sick! I felt so bad for him! Oh yea, which means I was up all night as well Thursday..

My dear you are many wonderful things and boring is no where to be found among that list. I can't imagine how tough it must have been to send the little one home!! But like the others said don't feel bad - you are a good teacher for doing it.

What a lovely introduction on your comment page. It compelled me to write.

How can you say that you almost fell asleep reading your Not-Me's? They were very entertaining. :) I loved the story about getting your license renewed. Definitely sounds like a day in my life. LOL.

How do you like your new Samsung? I have had my eye on it for Christmas.
