Fanpire.

I didn't get around to all of my commenting today. I was a bad bloggy buddy and to top that off I am really not putting a lot of effort into this post. Why? Might you ask...Breaking Dawn! That is the reason.. Every spare minute I got I found myself trying to read a page or two.. but honestly.. I really have mixed emotions about this.. I wanna read it because I wanna know how she wraps it all up... but then I don't want it to be over either. How strange am I? Pretty darn strange, In my title I called myself a Fanpire. What is up with that? Well folks, thats all you get from me today.. I am off to read my book.. I know, Horrible. Right?Oh yeah, say a little pray for me. Today is field trip day. Ugh. Me, my aid, and 28 pre-k kiddo's leaving the safety of our school...Pray Hard...lol.

I am going to have to check out The Twilight Series....You have me very curious now! (Did you love the short lived teevee show Moonlight? *sigh* I sure did...I love a sexy vampire. *sigh* But let's just keep that between us.)

Good luck on your field trip today!

And I know what you mean about savoring a book...You just don't want it to end......

You are NOT strange at all!!!! That's how I was too. I just read all 4 books last month and did not want it to end. You may not be as sad as you think when it's over. Enjoy!!!!

Ok, I feel ya. I finished the series last week. I thought I would be a little sad, but honestly, not at all. It was a great ending and I left the series ready to hit my list of other reads. Enjoy it! And enjoy the field trip!

I don't envy you on a field trip day! The teacher is always a wreak-worrying about that one little one who has the tendency to wander off-I always had at least one!!!
I should be starting book of the Twilight series this weekend...

When I was getting my hair done recently all the gals in the shop were talking about the Twilight books. I was teasing them saying that I like to read things that can really happen.Since vampires aren't real.... ;) They just went on and on about this book.
Then the other day my 12 yr. old niece had the book too and was telling me all about it.
Isn't it great when you find a super good book to read? I know what you mean about not wanting to end it so quickly.

Oh...the fun field trips. I well remember. They're fun alright, but it poops out the teacher.

I know you'll have fun stories. Hope the weather cooperates. It's supposed to be rainy & cold in my "neck of the woods."

Have a great day!

I am the same way. I have refused to start BD yet because I simply DO NOT WANT IT TO END! Ah, enjoy.

Ahhhhhh! I won all the books from the SiTS giveaway, and I am anxiously awaiting the Gift sent straight down from Walmart!

So I guess it would be a good idea to save up some posts, and schedule them ahead of time?

I love that series. I can't wait for Edward's story to come out. I was the same way with H.P. book 7, didn't ever want it to end.

Anonymous said...

I kwum about not wanting to finish - I was that way about Harry Potter a few years back. I haven't yet gotten into Twilight, but my 14 y.o. LOVES them. I just need an extra hour a day to read, you know?

Have fun on the field trip - I always enjoyed the little break from school, especially when lots of chaperones joined us. However, I never did it with 4 year olds... :)

Okay....please don't hate me. I've only heard of the Twilight Series. I've not read any of them. You'll have to fill me in on what they are about! But I'm glad you've found a good book. When I'm reading a great book, I can read for hours upon hours and nothing else gets done!!! Enjoy reading.

I am going to have to get the Twilight series and read it. I have heard so much about it! Hope you had a good field trip!

Shanan Strange said...

Ok, my fellow vampire fan! I'm almost done with the last book, and I'm a little bummed.. don't think it is nearly as good as the first one. What do you think? I will admit that it is the first time in my life that I have read2400+ pages in one month though.

Hope you survived the field trip! Give us some details....

Indigo Children said...

I love Meyer's books, but they do de-rail your life for a day or two. I stayed home from work to read Twilight.

I keep putting off reading the newest two (even thought my daughter has them) because I know I won't be able to put them down.

Sweet Simplicity said...

I LOVE these books! I finished all 4 in record time. I just couldn't help myself! Don't worry after its over you still randomly will think of things related to vampires. And at least we have the movie to look forward to--even though movies are never as good as the books.

jenn said...

I haven't heard of that book. Now I'm interested though. I love to read, but I haven't read much in the last couple years.

Michelle said...

I can relate. This summer I read all four books in just under 2 weeks. I had to go fast though because my 13 year old was nipping at my heels.

Lindsay said...

Oh my goodness - field trips...sounds like you're as nervous about that as us mom's would be!!

And seriously - I would LOVE to have time to read something...even a magazine would be nice.

Rebecca Jo said...

I've got to read this series myself - too much talking about it for me not to know what's going on!

debi9kids said...

My daughter has been reading this series and LOVES it. I just bought her the book you are reading 2 days ago and she is done already.

I really need to find some time for myself and start reading the mountian of books in my room.

I too have the exact feeling when reading a great book...wanting to know what happens but not wanting it to end either.

The Twilight series is on my reading list, but I'm not sure when I'll get to read again for a while with my baby. I'm just too busy during the day and too tired at night.

Hope your field trip went well!

Aggh I still haven't gotten a chance to read the series yet! Everyone keeps talking about it and I want to be let in!! I need more time in my life.

I just finished Breaking Dawn this weekend. And I'm sad. I miss my vampires and werewolfs, though I don't miss the strange dreams they gave me!

If I really like a book, it makes me sad to finish it. Yet, I tend to read books fast.
