In a previous post, I had mentioned that I was going to try the makemebabies.com out on my parents to see what would happen.. And tonight.. I did just that! I will let you guys decide if the babies resemble me or not... But first I should let you know the quality of men that I chose to make babies with.. I nearly spit my drink out when I was reading my comments.. Jennifer thought one of the men was the Hoff! Oh, heavens no. They were Tom Cruise (please don't judge) Kyle Chandler ( I love me some Friday Night Lights, the tv show) Rob Lowe & Blake Shelton. The Hoff my friends, did not make the list (shudder..).
This is my dad. This is his senior picture. He was 17 in this picture just about to graduate from High School and leave to join the Navy. My Mom was a Freshman when she met my father. She was 14. My mom said, it wasn't really a big deal back then for a 17 year old to date a 14 year old. My Mom's dad was a preacher and my dad's father was a deacon in a local church. They were both raised in strict christian homes and no one frowned upon them dating. My mom said that all the guys in her class were ugly but my dad was so dreamy..lol. Okay Mom.. This is my Mom...

Well anyway fast forward a few years..
This is my brother Brett.. He was their first child. He was born January 30, 1971. I love this picture of my brother.. For one he is so stinkin' cute and then for another reason.. How cute is that lamb? Then October 10, 1975.. I came into the picture.

Aww. How sweet are we? Truth be known.. we were probably about to break out in a big fight. It is sad to say, that when we were younger my brother and I weren't all that close. Sure in my toddler years he was a good helper to my Mom but we were almost 5 years apart and I was just about more then he could handle. I talked non-stop and touched everything he owned. Whether he allowed it or not. I was a stinker. I can admit it. But now my brother and I are fairly close.. When he calls to talk he really unloads and I am glad that he trust my advice. Okay, Okay. I am getting to it. The whole reason for this post.. here are the results from when I uploaded my parents pictures into makemebabies.com

Oh, and for those of you wondering ... here are my parents today..
I took this picture this afternoon! I showed my parents the picture and my Dad looked at my Mom and said, "Oh, Honey when did all the gray show up in my beard?" Both my parents are young at heart and such a blessing to me....

You really favor your mom in that photograph of her at a young age. Your parents look happy and fun! I love looking at old photographs of my folks and wondering just how crazy they were back then. The makemebabies site is a little creepy for me.
